New VMDO Links event to focus on sustainable festivals

The event is organized by VMDO (Victorian Music Development Office) in collaboration with Creative Victoria and Music Victoria. It will take place on Friday, 11th October, 3 PM - 5 PM at Circus Oz, Collingwood Yards.

For the latest VMDO Links, we are partnering with Wildlive to host a panel; Sustainable Choices, Financial Voices: The Economic Case for Greener Events. Industry experts will discuss innovative approaches to help reduce environmental impact while amplifying the power of music. Alex Pinte will be joined by Berish Bilander, Chief Executive Officer from Green Music AustraliaVicky Keeler, General Manager from Strawberry Fields FestivalJess Flee, Co-founder and Managing Director from Green my Plate, and Jen Kyna, director from Earthed Consulting. Together they will discuss the economic impact of implementing more sustainable practices and how that can influence the decision making and challenges for event organisers, scenarios for greener events, and from the sustainable services provider's perspective.
