FFWD: Competition Winners Announced

Congratulations to Rezza Moeini and Maize Wallin for winning our FastForward competition for Vic tech innovators. They'll be heading to FFWD: Sydney 2019 next week to engage in two days of ground-breaking keynotes, panel discussions, networking and more. You can find out more on the FastForward site here.

 

Maize Wallin is a Melbourne based composer, sound designer, and audio programmer. 

Maize is currently working on Virtual Reality musical instrument, #NoiseDrawers. The instrument recently premiered at the Women in Music Festival in Melbourne, and Maize was able to visit Chicago and San Francisco to research its development and business options into the future. 

Outside of Maize's solo artworks experiments, they freelance in video game audio working for indie games studios around the world. 

Maize is also heavily engaged in game audio mentoring, and advocacy for gender diversity, being on the board of not for profit Widget (Women in Digital Games and Everything Tech) and co-runs NonBinary.Zone

 
 

Rezza Moeini trained as a computer scientist, electrical engineer and project manager. Before joining Cultural Infusion as the Digital Projects Director, Rezza Moeni was a senior R&D project manager for National Iranian Radio and Television Station.

Under Rezza's direction Cultural Infusion has gone on to win several for awards for innovation in the area of technology.
