In July, the VMDO is hosting the 6th instalment of Networking Breakfasts, a monthly get-together for Victorian music industry professionals.
Taking place each month at the White Sky Hub, these events aim to bring together the emerging through to the established of the Victorian music business community to share ideas, catch up and collaborate.
These networking breakfasts will host a variety of special guests from around the state, country and international music community. Breakfast guests will present on industry trends, analysis, business learnings and opportunities.
On Tuesday 2nd July, Cameo Carlson, President of mtheory Nashville will be talking about the current challenges for international artist managers in the digital age. mtheory believes in a holistic approach to artist development that prioritises streaming to build a large, engaged fanbase and optimizes campaigns to maximize revenue in artists' largest earnings areas (typically live music).
