Victorian Music Industry Recovery Program – Info Session

Published 24 September, 2020

In partnership with Creative Victoria, the VMDO and Music Victoria are offering an online information session on the new Victorian Music Industry Recovery Program to help music industry artists, workers, businesses and organisations who have been impacted by coronavirus (COVID-19).

The one-off program is a response to the unique challenges the industry is facing at this critical time. It will help the industry respond to the changing market and restricted environment while enabling workers and businesses to keep working, generating income, and maintaining vital business partnerships.

Moderated by VMDO General Manager Bonnie Dalton, the Q&A session with Creative Victoria staff will provide an overview of the program, including eligibility, application and assessment processes. Applicants will also have an opportunity to have their questions answered by program staff.

This information session will provide some general information for all four program streams:

  • Stream 1 - Victorian First Peoples applicants only

  • Stream 2 - Victorian Deaf and Disabled applicants only

  • Stream 3 – Development of new work

  • Stream 4 – Training and professional/business development

People working in all roles in the music industry and across all genres are welcomed to join us on Wednesday 30th September, at 12.00pm AEST via Zoom.us.

Please ensure you register in order to secure your spot. The Zoom video webinar link is contained within your ticket, which you'll be able to access once your registration has been completed. If you haven’t used Zoom before, download the app ahead of time here, then read this brief guide about joining a webinar here. You'll have an opportunity to submit your questions ahead of time via the registration form.
