Victorian Music Industry Ecosystem Study - EOI

Published 10 July, 2019

The Victorian Music Development Office and Monash University are undertaking research into the Victorian music sector.

One element of this project will be a survey of key industry and we’re looking to chat to businesses who contribute to Victorian Music.

The project will scope the industry dynamics and available qualitative and quantitative evidence mapping the Victorian music industry, with a focus on:

  • Music managers

  • Music labels

  • Music producers and engineers

  • Tour promoters

  • Agents

The study will map current industry supply and value chains, focusing on the micro and small scale subsector to create a better understanding of the current landscape to inform plans to support growth and development in this sector.

The study is being undertaken by Monash University’s Ben Eltham. If you’d like to participate, please click the button below to complete an Expression of Interest form and we’ll be in touch. Your information will remain private and the study will be conducted ethically. Details on how the study will be conducted and how your information would be handled can be provided by Ben Eltham.

If you have any queries, please feel free to contact Katie Stewart at the VMDO via email katie@vmdo.com.au.
