Terms and Conditions - BIGSOUND 2023 Ticket Giveaway

  1. Eligibility: The BIGSOUND 2023 Conference Pass Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is open to individuals who are residents of Victoria, Australia, aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of VMDO (Victoria Music and Events Organization) and its affiliates are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.

  2. Giveaway Period: The Giveaway will commence on Wednesday, 2 August 2023, and will close at midnight Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Sunday, 13 August 2023 ("Giveaway Period").

  3. Entry Method: To be eligible to win one of the 2x conference passes for BIGSOUND 2023, participants must subscribe to VMDO's newsletter during the Giveaway Period. Only one entry per person is permitted.

  4. Winner Selection: The winners of the Giveaway will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The draw will be conducted within three (3) business days after the Giveaway Period ends.

  5. Winner Notification: The winners will be notified via email within seven (7) days of the draw date. The winners must respond to the notification email within three (3) business days to claim the prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in the prize being forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

  6. Prize Details: The prize for this Giveaway includes two (2) conference passes to BIGSOUND 2023 to be awarded to two (2) seperate individuals. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative. The prize does not include travel, accommodation, or any additional expenses incurred by the winner.

  7. Public Announcement: VMDO reserves the right to announce the winner's name on its official website and social media platforms.

  8. Privacy: By entering the Giveaway, participants agree to receive marketing communications from VMDO via the email address provided during entry. Participants' personal information will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with VMDO's Privacy Policy.

  9. Disqualification: VMDO reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete, illegible, or deemed inappropriate for any reason, including but not limited to the violation of these Terms and Conditions.

  10. Changes and Cancellation: VMDO reserves the right to modify or cancel the Giveaway or any part of it if unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, or any other event beyond VMDO's reasonable control.

  11. Governing Law: This Giveaway and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia.

  12. Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, entrants release VMDO from any and all liability arising out of or relating to their participation in the Giveaway or acceptance and use of the prize.
