Working with CaLD Creatives and Communities: Growing CaLD Audiences

In partnership with Diversity Arts Australia, the VMDO are offering a series of workshops designed to assist music business professionals to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse artists, businesses, communities and audiences.

Session 3: Growing CALD Audiences

Lead by trainers Dr Paula Abood, Dr Görkem (Gerkam) Acaroğlu and Artist Kim 'Busty Beats' Bowers, participants will identify barriers to community participation in the arts and music industry. You’ll learn engagement strategies to facilitate ethical encounters with CaLD communities and identify models that build partnerships and networks that are sustainable.
