The Victorian Music Development Office (VMDO) and CLOCK Your Skills have kicked off their 2023 program with the launch of the CLOCK Bootcamp. This year five participants have joined the four-week program which will help them formally recognise the skills they have developed through their work and career in an academic way.
The participants are Spiderbait manager and Arts Events Officer for the City of Geelong, Fiona Duncan; First Nations Women in Music founder and artist, Maylene Slater-Burns; Artist, Creative and Organiser, Kimberley Wheeler; Senior Artist Manager at UNFD, Caleb Williams; and musician and Tiny Triumphs Management founder Tom Larkin. They will be attending 8 sessions with CLOCK’s Ximo Peris.
Skills Discovery Workshops
March will also see two CLOCK your Skills Discovery Workshops held at the Music Market, on March 22nd and 26th. There are a small amount of tickets left for these events which aim to help music business professionals identify and consolidate their strengths and transferable skills as well as contribute to formalised qualifications. Their 3-hour workshop programs are open to professional creatives who want to validate their skills at a master’s level, irrespective of any previous formal qualifications.
