Virtual Networking Breakfast talking all things Twitch

Published 9 April, 2020

On Wednesday 29th April, Michelle Mannering (aka Mish Manners, Hackathon Queen) will be speaking in conversation with Lewis Mitchell (Partnerships Lead AU & NZ, Twitch) and Ahilleas Papantos (Talent Agent & Business Manager, AZYT Global Talent) about the rise of the livestream platform, Twitch and how music streamers can thrive and grow their audience.

The panel will be taking a deep dive into all things Twitch and what you need to know as a music streamer. Do you need to be a gamer? How does monetisation on Twitch work? What do you need to know about growing an audience? Entire books have been written on the subject and now is a great time to learn more about this booming platform.

These events aim to bring together the emerging through to the established of the Victorian music business community to share ideas, catch up and collaborate. These networking breakfasts will host a variety of special guests from around the state, country and international music community, and will become an opportunity for regular industry connection during the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions.

Breakfast guests will present on industry trends, analysis, business learnings and opportunities. Settle in with a cup of coffee or tea and connect with your music community.

We'd like to encourage you to join us at 9.00am sharp. To begin with, the VMDO team will be taking participants through the new format for VMDO Virtual Networking Breakfasts, which will be as close to the in-person format as possible. You'll have the chance to interact and ask the speakers questions, as well as network with your peers in Zoom breakout rooms before and after the presentation.
